"Rom Hup Market (Folding Umbrella Market) is located next to the railway near Mae Klong Railway Station. This market stretches approximately 100 meters, with vendors setting up their stalls close to the railway tracks. When the train approaches, vendors quickly fold their umbrellas and move their goods away, giving the market its name. This market is known for its exciting atmosphere. Talat Rom Hup or “Risky Market” is famous for the vendors who set up their stalls along the short Mae Klong-Ban Laem railway line. When the train is about to pass, vendors quickly fold their umbrellas or tarps. As soon as the train passes, they set up their stalls again, creating a remarkable scene."
