Chumphon Crown Prince Monument is located at Sai Ree Beach, Chumphon Province, within the grounds of the royal residence, where Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, also known as Chumphon Khet Udomsak, passed away. He was the father of the Thai Navy and the founding father of the "Aphakorn" family line. Revered as the "Father of the Navy" or "Sea Father", he was also known as "Phor Phon", a healer who treated villagers' ailments without charging for his services. His legacy has made him widely respected and venerated by the public, both during his lifetime and to this day. The shrine is considered a sacred site, particularly known for offering blessings related to health, career success, and education.
