Description
The old city wall, fortresses, and watchtowers were originally very strong on all four sides. It is assumed they were built during the Lopburi period and expanded during the reign of King Ramathibodi I. The walls were dismantled and rebuilt during the reign of King Narai the Great, especially around the palace and the city corners.

Description
Phra Kan Shrine, originally called "San Sun" (High Shrine), is an ancient religious site located in the middle of the Srisunthorn Roundabout on Narai Maharat Road, in Talay Chup Son Subdistrict, Mueang Lopburi District, Lopburi Province. It is situated east of Phra Prang Sam Yod and the Northern Railway line. Inside is the ancient deity Phra Kan.
